but it can be for anyone.
A journal helps where a friend cannot.
If you can't trust a person, you can trust
yourself. A journal is an exact representation of
you. It will be your personality on paper.
I do about 3 major journals annually. One--
in a scrapbook form, two--in the form of a blog and three--in the form of a journal.
It's definitely a bucketlist thing. You need to have atleast one journal before you die. There are different kinds! And they are so much fun to read once you let a little time pass by! There are some things that are worth remembering, and things that are not so much, but you can always use them as a reference guide.. A lesson that you can keep for the rest of your life..
Keeping a journal wont mean that you are weak of soft or anything like that. It's probably the most personal thing that one can ever keep and it's called many names... A diary, a little black book, a diadem, or even a book of shadows.
What to write on a journal?
-Important events
-Memories
-Heartbreaks
-Ideas
-Recipes
-Pictures
-Souvenirs
-Plans
-Goals
-Secrets
-Dreams
and many more...
Why keep a journal?
-You have memories that are worth remembering.
-Dreams can be premonitions.
-A recipe that can be past down to many generations.
-Pen is mightier than the sword.
-Get your ideas on paper, then materialize it.
-No one can keep your secret better than you can.
-Pictures will be safe there and you will have them for a lifetime.
-Heartbreaks are something you--and others can learn from.
-Venting helps, and its healthy!
-It can be a book about your life--your legacy.
YES ITS THAT SERIOUS!
